Compare with –er and –est . Сompare with more and most. more (больше, более) most (наибольший, самый) My father is a famous man. Mart Laar is more famous than my father. Lennart Meri is the most famous person in Estonia.

Remember

Use the comparative links: Than –чем e.g.Tom is older than his brother Bob. As…………..as – такой……………..как e.g.The fir is as tall as the birch. Not so………..as – не такой …………….как Not as………..as – не такой…………….как e.g.The English textbook is not so thin as the Estonian textbook.
